Prius Diagnostics in Albany, OR: Red Triangle & Hybrid Codes

A red triangle on your Prius dash doesn't automatically mean a $4,000 battery. We use hybrid-specific diagnostic tools to find out exactly what's wrong before you spend anything on repairs.

Common hybrid codes we diagnose

• P0A80: Replace hybrid battery pack. Usually means one or more modules are weak; it does not always require a whole new pack.
• P3000: Battery control system malfunction.
• P3011–P3024: Individual battery block faults. Each code points to a specific block, so we know which module to repair.

The "Red Triangle of Death"

The red triangle, often with a "Check Hybrid System" message, can come from the battery, inverter, cooling system or sensors. We read live data, compare block voltages and isolate the cause so you only pay for the repair you need.
